Our Governance & Finances

Fount is part of a global network of churches, C3 Church Global. C3 stands for Christian City Church, and the movement has over 500 churches across 65 countries. Fount is accountable to multi-level oversight through weekly reporting, financial guidelines and adherence to a statement of faith. Fount’s regional oversight for C3 Americas are Simon and Valerie McIntyre.

Fount also has an independent Board of Directors that meet quarterly to review the health of the church, as well as financial decisions for staff, capital expenditure and expenses.

Our Weekly Rhythms

“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts.” Acts 2:46

We live in a city with a lot of noise and distractions, so our weekly rhythms are streamlined and similar to how the early church met at the temple and in homes. We have larger gatherings on Sundays for church services and weekly small group gatherings called Dinner Parties and Tables.

Sundays

Sundays are designed to foster a sense of community, deepen your understanding of God, and create milestones for spiritual growth.

Dinner Parties

Meeting on Wednesdays, neighborhood, small group gatherings meet in homes to break bread as transformational communities.

Tables

gathering different days and frequencies, seasonal community groups accommodate busy schedules or seasons.

Before anyone signs up to volunteer or is put on an official roster, we partner together as the body of Christ in the work of the local church in three ways:

• Serving from a secure identity found in God’s love
• Stepping out in evangelism and invitation
• Growing in generosity

Tithing to the local church means giving 10% of our income back to God. If you want to give above and beyond, Vision Builders is our building, mission and expansion fund. Every year, we set goals to raise money for initiatives to bless our church, our city and around the world.

Our Team

We are a mobile church, which means that every Sunday, our Fount Team sets up and loads out of venues—transforming schools, auditoriums, music halls and warehouses into places of worship! Our Team serves our city on Sundays and across the week. There are four types of teams:

Experience

Experience Teams make Fount feel like home to everyone who walks through our doors.

Service

Through talents and creativity, Service Teams prepare people’s hearts to hear and respond to the Word of God.

Generations

By serving the kids, youth and families of NYC, the generations that come after us will impact our city in ways we couldn’t possibly imagine.

Love New York

Outreach teams serve local communities in New York City, meeting needs, bringing hope and sharing the love of Jesus.
